1956 Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS:
This car was Alfa’s competitor to the Mercedes 300SL Gullwing and in 1956 they cost the same. The car was very costly to build with a light weight tubular chassis and an aluminum body by Touring; powered by a 4 cylinder with dual overhead cams and two carburetors.
Few were made and even fewer still exist. In one of the photos you can see the felt strips that we added to prevent galvantic corrosion from contact of the aluminum and the steel just like the factory did 60 years ago.
